We used this transparency film. It has a film on one side, which is the side on which we printed our images.
The film is adhered to a piece of white paper. The blue tape on the leader edge helps hold the 2 layers together.
Judy is applying a fabric medium to her cloth.
She peeled away the top of the transparency to look. Note that there is a little of the printing left on the transparency. So, she placed the film back down and pressed those few images on the cloth.
This is the final image. The photo doesn't do it justice. It was really special, on a rusted cloth.
Val had this hand drawn image she transferred.
These old color postcards of Gen's transferred beautifully. This process prints a mirror image of the original image. So, Judy photoshopped Gen's postcards to a mirror image so that the final print would not be a mirror image.
Denny had some transfer film at home and brought a lot of images already printed. It may not have been the best transparency film for this project. Her images were wonderful, the transfers had a bit of a fuzzy look.
This is another of Denny's. I like the look of the transfer.
I had brought a lot of photos of power lines taken on a recent trip to Quebec. I had cleaned up the image in Paint Shop Pro to emphasize certain parts of the photos.
